- The above init string works fine for me.
-
- Some questions to ask yourself:
-
- Regarding Trumpet, exactly what "errors" are you seeing?
-
- Does the modem initially make a successful high-speed connection (i.e.
- do the CD and HS LEDs illuminate)?
-
- One of the ATI commands (I don't have my manual handy) will display
- the reason for the last "disconnect"; what does it report?
-
- Have you successfully connected to other v.34 modems using an
- "old-fashioned" (non SLIP/PPP) dialup?
-
- What are your other Trumpet settings? Port speed? Hardware flow
- control enabled? Compression enabled?
-
- What version of the Trumpet Winsock are you using? At least one
- version is buggy.
-
- Is your comm port equipped with a 16550 UART? Is Trumpet reporting any
- overrun errors?
-
- What version of the modem firmware is installed? v4 is the latest.
